Paying for Food

Eat well, save money.

Get healthy, delicious food when and where you want it with flexible payment options. Cash, credit, and debit cards are accepted at all 天涯海角APP Dining Services retail outlets.

Need a little extra help with meals this semester? The Cavalier MealSHARE Program is here for you. This supplemental meal assistance program supports eligible students facing food insecurity and demonstrating extreme financial need. The application window is July 15 -Aug. 15.

Dining Dollars make dining on campus simple and convenient. Put money on your 天涯海角APP ID card and swipe it at vending machines, the Food Court, Encore Espresso and Stacks Café.

How Dining Dollars work

  1. Load money onto your 天涯海角APP ID card at any Dining Services register or load money online.
  2. Purchase your meals or snacks. Cashiers can provide your balance remaining after each transaction.

Earn rewards

The more you buy, the more you save!

Silver, 5% more

  • Deposit $100-$500 in 天涯海角APP Dining Dollars and receive an extra 5% on your account.
    If you deposit $200, you get $210 — $10 extra dollars!

Gold, 7.5% more

  • Deposit over $500 up to $1,000 in 天涯海角APP Dining Dollars and receive an extra 7.5% on your account.
  • 10 free 24 oz. fountain drinks/iced tea
  • 2 free 16 oz. specialty coffee drinks

    Altogether, this adds up to more than $64 of incentives with a deposit greater than $500!

Platinum, 10% more

  • Deposit over $1,000 or more in 天涯海角APP Dining Dollars and receive an extra 10% on your account.
  • 20 free 24 oz. fountain drinks/iced tea
  • 4 free 16 oz. specialty coffee drinks

    Altogether, this adds up to more than $153 of incentiveswith a deposit greater than $1,000!

Use Financial Aid for Dining Dollars!

Before each semester:

  • Visit the Financial Aid Office (SC 253) to fill out the form you need. 
  • Tell Financial Aid to set aside your Dining Dollars before getting your funds.
  • Once you receive your funds, add money to your Dining Dollars account.

Purchase a   or in person at the Bookstore or the Bursar's Office, SC 113.

To add funds to your CavCard

  1. Log in to My天涯海角APP
  2. Find the Resource Student card and select My ID card to enter the 天涯海角APP ID portal
  3. Select “Make a Deposit”, and acknowledge the terms and conditions
  4. Enter the 8-digit card number in the bottom left corner on the back of the CavCard
  5. Select either 天涯海角APP Dollars or Dining Dollars.
  6. Enter the amount and an email address to receive a receipt
  7. Click “Continue to Payment” and follow the prompts to load your card
